Transformers: Robots in Disguise

this was my horoscope of the day:
Some rumors are fun to hear -- so much fun that when you hear them, you start thinking about making one up to send back via the same messenger. Something along those lines is about to reach you now, regarding a certain someone you'd be hard pressed to deny your attraction to. Don't even bother trying to deny it. You're sweet on them, and apparently the feelings are mutual. Now what are you going to do about it?

And I can not wait until Alice and Wonderland comes out. Tim Burton is amazing. Here is a picture of Johnny Depp for the movie. March 5, 2010!!
This morning. At 12. AM. I saw Transformers 2. I honestly didnt like it. The last hour itself was robots fighting and dying and coming back to life and fighting again. It got old. I do have to admit that the work and design for this movie was quite impressive. The fight scene, as long as it was, used great dynamics in animation (the robots) and a lot of explosives. My favorite part was "lets roll." Epic scene. Cheesy line. I dont know why people keep trying to put that in movies. It never works. Oh and also I went with a bunch of guys right and of course, they think Megan Fox is hot. So when she was running away from danger, dirt flying, death on her tail, in her little tank top there eyes were glued. It was funny to watch as they eyes bounced up and down with her chest. In sync. Buh dum Buh dum! Haha good times.

White Trash Beautiful

Wow. I actually haven't done an actual talk about my life for a while. This will be intense.

Who? What? When? Where?
  • all by myself
  • writing this post while watching Grease and texting anyone who is intrested
  • 9:45
  • in my living room
Favorite Photograph of now:
My meals of the day:
  • Breakfast: Fruit smoothie and a Chai Latte
  • Lunch: Thai Crunch Salad from California Pizza Kitchen (you have to go and have this)
  • Dinner: Tortilla Soup

Update on the wonderful life of Me:
  • For the past week and the week to follow I have been working with Theater School. Theater school is a fundraiser the EHS Drama Department does. Its a kids day camp that we (being the students of EHS) get to teach. I teach an acting class of all 6 year olds and two 11 year olds and then a musical theater class with ALL the boys in the camp. It is pretty exciting. Though it may be stressful at times, because I am such a perfectionist and want everything to go well, it has been such a full filling experience. I love working with these kids who have imaginations as big as the universe and smiles that make you smile even if you don't want to. If you are interested, the performance is this upcoming thursday night at EHS.
  • I have finished about 1/2 of my summer homework assignments.
  • Today I went to the Chalk Festival down town at Gateway. I can not believe the talent that these artists had. It did start to rain, hard. I felt bad for the people who put so much time into those works of art and then the rain just came and washed them down stream into a river of colors. (But i did walk away with a few new products for my wardrobe. :D)
  • I saw Taken the other night with Morgan, Tori, Matt, Joe, and Ryan at the dollar theater. It was a pretty awesome movie. I liked it and recommend it. The only bummer was the main girl bugged me at the end of the show and then the elderly couple behind us snoring away.
  • I am eating frozen grapes. These are the best snacks. Just take some grapes. But them in a zip lock bag. STick them in the freezer. Let them freeze. Eat them.
  • I am watching Grease. I love this show. "wow. Your hair looks like an easter egg" (last line said.
  • 12 more day until I leave this state and run away in a giant white mormon party van!!!
  • I have mosquito bites on my feet. They are itchy.
  • I need an adventure.
Favorite Song of the Moment:
  • White Trash Beautiful -- Everlast
White Trash Beautiful, Trailer Park Queen
She slings hash at the diner from 11 to 5
She married a boy from school, thought he was oh so cool
But all he can do for money is drive
Out late haulin' freight on Interstate 5, prayin' he'll see home before his baby arrive
White Trash Beautiful, there's something you should know
My heart belongs to you
And you could've found a better guy
I'll love you till the day I die
I swear to God it's true
I'm comin' home to you
I'm comin' home to you girl
Just so you know:
  • Tomorrow is Go Skateboard Day. So go skateboard.
  • Urban Outiftters in my favorite store
  • Tomorrow is also Father's Day. So Dont forget them.
Have a nice night. xoxo

Are you your brother's keeper?

Who is my brother?
Another offspring of my mother?
Or is he the guy on the street corner
begging for money?
Is my sister the girl selling her body
to feed the mouths of her hungry kids?
Was it my friend who got drunk
and died from hitting a tree?
Am I my brother’s keeper?
Should I tell the person next to me
where that road will lead them?
Should I support a hungry
child in Africa whose eyes
well up in tears every day?
Tell me who is my brother.
Who is my sister.
Tell me their story.
Tell me their problem and ask
Are you your brother’s keeper?

skatin' through to the end of the school year.

On Saturday I helped produce my first Concrete Rodeo event of the season. It was truly amazing. Sure I wished I would have had a microphone to announce scores ( i may be bad at it but i love doing it) and we could have done without the kid breaking his arm, but other than that it was pretty spectacular. Here are just a few pictures of the event:
Schools over. Its out for summer! THANK GOD! I am so ready for it to be over. Now it is free time, sunsets, skate comps, sun tans, cute guys, sunglasses. The life. I am so excited.

randomcraptasticness

Hey people who read this, or at least pretend. How are you doing? Me, well I am doing Amazingly Amazing. I mean how could I not. It is or at least was raining like a monsoon tonight. The air is cool and its like the night is breathing in my face. Each breath brings the smell of rain and the want of summer.

I decided that this post is going to be filled with a bunch of randomness. So if you do not like randomness I suggest taking your little mouse up to the address bar and type something else in (like facebook where you can stalk other people instead of reading my about my awesome randomcraptasticness-- yes that word was made up) and then press enter. If you are still reading, may god grant you patients to make it to the end. I would also suggest getting up, walking to your medicine closet and grabbing the bottle of Advil and setting it besides you just incase this randomness gives you a headache. Now lets begin.

I am sitting her text messaging- because that is what i do- and I have decided that phones should have spell check. I know I know most people out there use things like LOL or OMG or my personal favorite WTF (Utah version: WT.) But come on people. We all aint spelling bee winners and some of us use real words in our texts. I sat her staring at my text because I thought I spelt absolutely wrong.. after a few minutes I decided to type it in the computer to see. And sure enough I forgot the 'e.' That little 'e' problem could have been solved if there was spell check. I am sure that there is spell check on more fancy phones that have everything on them and could even brush your teeth for you if you needed it too, but I want spell check on my palm centro brick.

For the past few days I have been cleaning my room. Actually I lied. I have been organizing, dejunking, cleaning, my room. I went through every drawer and closet, throwing away anything I didn't need anymore. Now that it is finished it is very relaxing to be sitting here in my nice and tidied room. While cleaning I found some fun stuff. Like my favorite pen from 7th grade or my love notes from Griffin from Elementary school. I also found a pencil box filled with gel pens! Remember when these were the things to have? They were my favorite thing. One year I even had my mom buy me a jumbo pack at Costco. I had every color. And then I had every color in sparkles and metallic. I used to write notes to my friends in them, correct papers in class, or even give myself a tattoo in gel pens. These simple pens that had colorful inks and flowed so nicely were gods gift to me when I was little. Now that I found them I think I am going to be addicted to using them again.

While cleaning I also found this poem I made in 8th grade. It was project for Mr. Kirchner in English. I read through it and I relized I was not too bad of a writer. I will share it with you because I know you are dying to know what it says now:

That One Night
Hours could have passed, but I didnt care
His arms were holding me tightly
as we went dancing through the stars
I'm sorry for all the times I lost my temper
but love is a battlefied
And where that boy so caught up in truth
dances until music freezes
and my feet stop
perfect moments times ten
Exhausted
but in love
Echausted
I'm the relation between man and the stars
while I am dreaming in my living room

Tada! Pretty amazing right? I know I thought so myself too. Th
ats why I showed it to you, so you too can enjoy my 8h grade writing style.

Remember a few posts back. Two posts back. When I told you Theater School was cancelled? Well.. plans might be changed. It might be back up again but I am not certain. And if it if guess who is in charge of the whole thing because Amy made plans the minute she found out it was over? You guessed it: Me. Your Verbaledudette may be in charge of theater school. SO help me god. It will be fun! I will have no idea what I am doing, but hey! Most of my best work comes from the toss salad method. Just throw what you have in  and see what comes out.

I think the radio stations need to stop playing Poker Face by Lady Gaga. It is driving me insane. Every time I get in the car and turn on the radio Ppppookkker face is singing to me through the speakers. But then I change the channel and "Kiss me throw the phone" is playing or that "blame it of the aaaalccohol" song comes on. Goodness can we not find any other songs in that huge library of music? Its says it the station that plays the songs we want. I don't think when people voted for poker face online to be played they knew it would be played ALL THE TIME. Gah.

I got my new T shirt in the mail yesterday and today I showed it off to the world. I personally think it is the coolest shirt ever.... no one else agrees except for Eliza. Sad. But oh well. Its from the Sector Nine ads about not polluting the air. :D I love it.  Here is what it looks like:

Okay Dokay. I think I may be done. I know I will remember something the minute I publish the post.

Oh yeah. So the Hilary Duff lyrics on last post... I now know the real words. Its I want to scream not something about your water stream or whatever I wrote.

Oh and I have a Twitter so you should follow me. Its skaterdudette. :D

Now I think I am done. Yeah. Okay. Bye. Bye.

Let the Rain fall down and Wake my Dreams.

Outside you here the thunder shaking the sky and see the lighting light up the dark night. A cool breeze blows through the windows and dances around your face. The pitter patter of rain drops make a melody of music to your ears. You listen. Quiet. Still. Waiting. You don't move because you don't want to break the silence. It is so beautiful outside. Everything about the rain invites each of my senses in. The smell, the touch, the sight, the sound, even the taste. If it were human, he would be perfect. If it wasn't 10:30 at night and the doors had not been already locked up for the night, I would be out there on the streets. Barefoot. Dancing. When dancing in the rain you dance without a care. You forget about whose watching or if you do a pirouette correctly. Its as almost as if you are floating with the clouds and just moving with the notes of the raindrops as the splash against the cement. I love the rain.

"Let the rain fall down and wake my dreams. Let it wash away my sanity, because I want to hear your thunder, feel your water stream, let the rain fall down."
