Today was the last work day of school. It was hectic, boring, and above all made me sick to my stomach with all the final tests i had to take. I was over come by history questions concerning Asia culture. And my brain almost fizzed out taking a Math test. But its over, Nothing I can do now.
I went to celebrate Chase's birthday this evening. I dont really know him that well, at least not as well as the rest of the crazy guests, but it was fun. While walking to emogration market to pick up some lettuce for Amber, on my way to the party, i got a message on my phone that made my heart sink. -You know whe you like someone and you know there is no way they could like you back the same way you feel about them, but yet when you find out they have found their match you really heart broken? Yeah i felt like that walking all the way up Harrison ave, with a bag of wedged lettuce in my left hand and the message lying on my phone in my right. It's a terrible feeling, but you learn to put on a face and play happy go lucky to make the frown from showing. - I waltzed into the backyard of where the birthday celebration was to take place. I step foot on the grass below and am directly turned around and back up the steps with Laura and Beth to go fetch frozen meat and paper plates. With about 24 frozen hamburger patys and 36 Sesame Street paper plates we arrived back where we started, excpet this time there were a few extra guests. We talked, laughed, sang a bit, and Chase took pictures with his new lens and camera. It was fun. Then we played a sing a long type game on Amber's PS 3 (i think) Two mikes, one song, great singing and all without any alchohol involved. Fun times.
Around nine thirty i decided to walk myself home (which is just down the street). I start walking with my black vans on, but ened with them being carried in my right hand. The cool cement made my feet feel like they were walking on clouds. Mosit and soft. I love walking without shoes, its a sort of freedom i feel i have without shoes.
Earlier that day i had decided to rent Across the Universe which i had not yet seen until three hours ago. It was amazing. The singing, dancing, visual arts, and story line sucked me in, like a small boy and his toy train. I cant wait to buy it. To make it mine. I do say that if you havent seen it, you need to.
Well until next time- L8ter
-Audrey
